About the role:
Part time Permanant 3 days per week
Were looking for a passionate and experienced Cafe Team Leader to help drive a valuesled inclusive and customerfocused environment at Summerland Farm an iconic tourist destination and social enterprise proudly run by Aruma. In this handson leadership role youll support people with disabilities to build skills and thrive in a hospitality setting all while delivering highquality caf service to our customers.
Success in this role means leading with empathy and professionalism identifying individual strengths across a diverse team and creating a positive productive cafe culture. Youll be instrumental in coaching supported employees maintaining high service standards and ensuring every customer has a great experience.

About You:
- Qualification in hospitality; or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Previous barista experience in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent customer service
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise work of a small team
- Brings a positive attitude consistent with Summerland Farms ethos and Arumas values contributing to an engaging workplace culture celebrating diversity and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising employees and or teams
- Demonstrates respect towards people with a disability
- A practical understanding of WHS requirements
- Sufficient physical fitness to meet the manual handling and environmental requirements of the position
- A current Australian drivers license.
- Have or willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate & RSA
- Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
