Job Description
Job Title: Staff Pharmacist Floater
Location: Facilities in Jesup GA Area
Job Description: Were seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team to serve at different facilities in the Jesup GA area.The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment detailoriented strong communication skills and problemsolving skills. This position offers a competitive pay rate with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications as well as the opportunity for advancement employee recognition and team collaboration.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements including evaluation selection procurement and distribution of drugs counseling and professional consultation
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
- Interprets physician medication orders
- Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
- Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
- Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
- Exercises sound judgment in decisionmaking
- Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
- Maintains professionalism in all situations
- Uses time effectively and efficiently
Position Requirements:
- Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
Schedule Details:
- 3040 hours/week
