Job Description
- Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025;
- Accept and conduct all testing assignments issue testing results and ensure result accuracy;
- Carry out tests according to international standards/client specific method;
- Troubleshoot problems that arise during testing seeking help from the manager if necessary;
- Involve in testing capability development under supervision of Manager;
- Maintain the operation of each testing team;
- Involved in the selection and acceptance of new instruments and equipment as well organize/conduct the acceptance of consumables.
- Involved in operation maintenance calibration / verification performance check and/or intermediate check of equipment in textile testing lab.
- Finish other tasks assigned by Manager.
Qualifications :
- Minimum bachelor degree in science or Engineering
- . in Science or Engineering
- SO/IEC 17025 requirement Textile Testing Training etc.
- Familiar with textile standards/ requirements
- Can conduct group tests for strength (tensile tearing attachment) dimensional changes color fastness fiber content pilling abrasion flammability etc
- SKILLS
- Good communication skills.
- Accurate typing skills proficiency in MS Office Suite and general computer skills.
- 5 years experience in Textile testing laboratory; Experience of Accreditation Body Audit is advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Bengali
- Strong technical knowledge;
- Analytical mind and logical thinking.
