Welding Operations
- Perform MIG TIG and laser welding on a variety of metals and thicknesses.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols accurately.
- Prepare materials align components and complete welding assignments according to project specifications.
Fabrication Support
- Collaborate with the fabrication and machining teams to ensure welds meet dimensional and functional requirements.
- Use grinders cutters and other metal prep tools as needed.
- Inspect completed welds visually and with measurement tools to ensure quality.
Quality & Safety
- Follow proper welding procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to quality assurance practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Certified Welder with qualifications in MIG TIG and/or laser welding techniques
- Minimum 3 years of fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Skilled in welding different metals including stainless steel and mild steel
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards (ASME AWS or ISO preferred)
