AHRC NYC is holding a HIRING EVENT with ON THE SPOT JOB OFFERS! for Full Time Job Coachs for their Bronx Employment Services Program.
DATE: Thursday May 1st 10AM 2PM
LOCATION: will contact qualified candidates with specific address.
PAY RATE: $17 per hour or $18 per hour with a masters degree. After six months if in good standing pay rate is increased to $18 or $19 per hour. Plus a comprehensive Benefit benefit information below.

HOURS: 40 hours per week (May include early morning evening and/or weekend hours)
AHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire multiple FullTime Job Coaches to join their Bronx Employment Services Program dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. The job coach initially spends 100 of the time with the individuals on the job site and then gradually fades as the individual becomes proficient at the job.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 1020 clients primarily in the field 90 of time spent at job sites).
- Teach assist and support new workers in their jobs using techniques such as demonstration of tasks modeling counseling observation and discussion.
- Provide training and support to workers with disabilities ensuring their success in their roles.
- Travel to route new workers from home to job sites.
- Write detailed service notes after each session to monitor client progress and outcomes.
Qualifications :
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to the scheduling needs of the individual. May include early morning evening and/or weekend hours.
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience preferred
- Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills including effective writing and oral communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
