Job Purpose: We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in financial planning forecasting and reporting while also providing accounting support including account reconciliations and monthend close processes. You will help drive datadriven decisions and provide key insights into profitability and business initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Reporting and Financial Analysis:Prepare detailed analysis metrics and dashboards to aid management in decisionmaking and identifying business opportunities. Develop and maintain key management reports ensuring accuracy and consistency in tracking profitability and outcomes of key business initiatives. Become a subject matter expert in Crystal Reports helping automate reporting processes for the finance team and other departments. Perform ad hoc financial analysis including modeling various business scenarios such as market entry product line extensions and customer/vendor opportunities.
Financial Planning and Forecasting: - Assist the Finance Manager in coordinating and executing annual business planning activities including the creation of financial plans and periodic forecasts.
- Collaborate with teams across sales marketing operations and accounting to refine forecasting processes and incorporate expectations into financial statements.
Accounting Support:- Support monthend close processes including inventory reserves bad debt reserves credit card reconciliation and other key tasks.
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable including customer payment postings credit application management vendor invoice processing and reconciliation of unvouchered accounts.
- Provide support to external accounting firms for annual tax returns and audits.
- Aid in manufacturing profitability analysis and financial support as the ERP system is integrated for Great Lakes Industrial Knife.
Additional Responsibilities: - Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications: Education: - Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related Business field from an accredited institution.
Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
