Iowa City VAMC (Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center) is a VA hospital in Iowa City Iowa providing medical surgical mental health and specialty care to U.S. military veterans. It offers diagnostic imaging lab services primary care rehabilitation and veteranfocused programs as part of the VA Healthcare System.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide highquality diagnostic imaging services at the Iowa City VA Health Care System. The role requires patient preparation image acquisition and quality control while ensuring compliance with VA ACR and The Joint Commission standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CT scanners MRI Xrays fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring highquality images
- Prepare and position patients for imaging ensuring comfort and safety
- Follow radiation safety procedures and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with VA regulations infection control and HIPAA policies
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT (CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
- Minimum 3 years of recent CT Technologist experience
- VA Privacy HIPAA and Information Security Awareness
Vaccinations:
- Proof of measles mumps rubella varicella pertussis and annual flu vaccination
