THE JOB / Senior Event Executive Hospitality

EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs.

***Our headquarters is in Stamford CT but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work 23 days week in office) in one of these office locations Stamford CT New York NY Charlotte NC Chicago IL or Atlanta GA. The Atlanta location is highly preferred.

Octagon is searching for Senior Account Executive to join our team as a playmaker at the intersection of global football and hospitality. This role will be working managing relationships with key stakeholders for a fastpaced client and is ideal for someone that is passionate about global football with a minimum of two 2 years of partnership experience.

THE WORK YOULL DO

• Assist with event planning onsite activation and post event wrapup
• Handle online guest registration systems and databases
• Develop templates and acquire invitee information
• Creation of personalized itineraries for various FIFA World Cup matches
• Colead all weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external constituents
• Lead all logistics to include but not limited to dcor lodging transportation food and beverage production services and celebrity appearances
• Prepare and distribute event status meeting notes guides staff implementation guides
• Handle event results reporting and wrapup report development
• General account management and assistance with client requests
• Lead onsite temporary staff at event activations
• Weekend/holiday work as needed
• Assist in organizing logistics for events including dcor lodging transportation food and beverage production services and talent appearances.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and setup
• Support the event planning team in managing schedules and timelines
• Identify track and keep up to date on global football deadlines
• Support the Account Manager in the management of documents such as budgets status reports inventory tracking and meeting agenda and notes
• Produce written communications for clients including presentations event reports case studies competitive reports etc.

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

• Have a passion for global football and eager to stay up to date with development in the industry
• 23 years of work with an agency brand or property within global sports and specifically global football
• Quick learner with confidence in managing multiple programs at once
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Exceptional work ethic a strong desire to succeed and willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (specifically PowerPoint Excel and Word)
• Strategic collaborator and problem solver can see possible impacts of a decision on many projects
• Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate 2045

L2: This position pays $50000 is overtimeeligible and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.
