Job Description
On behalf of a respected client in the heavy fabrication and manufacturing sector we are actively seeking a qualified Boilermaker with proven experience in pressure vessels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a wellestablished company known for delivering highquality customengineered solutions across multiple industries including mining oil & gas and industrial processing.
Youll be working in a supportive environment that values technical skill safety and precision. This role is ideal for a tradesperson who takes pride in their craftsmanship and is looking to be part of a team that builds complex largescale components to exacting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication assembly and repair of pressure vessels and related components
- Interpretation of technical drawings codes and specifications (ASME etc.
- Proficient use of heavyduty tools and welding equipment (TIG MIG Stick)
- Conducting pressure tests and quality checks to ensure code compliance
- Adhering to all OH&S procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
- Working closely with engineers supervisors and quality control teams
Requirements
- Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator
- Extensive experience working on pressure vessels (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Strong welding skills across multiple processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Understanding of ASME and other relevant pressure vessel standards
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to pass preemployment medicals and weld tests
Desirable (but not essential)
- Pressure Vessel Welding Certification
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets
- Forklift or Crane operation licenses
