We provide unbiased investment consulting services to nearly 200 institutional clients including corporations public retirement systems TaftHartley funds nonprofit organizations nonpension operating funds highnetworth individuals and families and other special purpose funds. We are looking for intellectually curious and pragmatically innovative candidates with a can do attitude to fill our fulltime Data Entry Specialist position. Candidates must be prepared to work in an extraordinarily collegial teamoriented environment and consulting model. This is an entrylevel position so on the job training will be provided.
Job Description
The Data Entry Specialist position provides data collection support to the Performance Measurement and Analytics (PMA) Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect and enter investment manager and index data on a monthly basis for certain asset classes
- Collect and enter custodian bank data on a monthly basis for certain custodian banks and clients
- Reconcile data with a third party troubleshoot as needed note reasons for any unresolved discrepancies and approve
- Maintain due dates checklists and procedures
- Work in a deadlinedriven environment handle multiple tasks simultaneously follow through and up on assigned tasks (team client and administrative) without needing to be micromanaged
- Provide support to the other Data Entry Specialists and Receptionist as needed
- Download data information fund fact sheets etc. via the internet Morningstar Direct eVestment etc. on a monthly quarterly or adhoc basis
- Help achieve RVK business plan goals
- Other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
- Basic grasp of math concepts and terms
- Analytical skills
- Ability to manage and manipulate data
- Ability to problemsolve independently
- Proven initiative to improve processes or create efficiencies
- Strong work ethic; able and willing to work more than 40 hours per week when needed (deadlines and/or workload may require 50 to 60hour weeks and include evenings and weekends during peak time)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Ability to work in a deadlinedriven environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate progress and follow through on assigned tasks
- Ability to perform a variety of highly responsible complex and confidential functions involving the use of independent judgment problem solving skills and personal initiative
- Ability to analyze situations carefully and adopt effective courses of action

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in finance economics accounting and/or a related field helpful but not required
- Knowledge of the financial services industry helpful but not required
