Job Description
- Fulltime locum coverage needed
- Daily clinic and hospitalbased obstetrics care
- FTCA malpractice insurance provided
- Flexible assignment with potential for extension
- Supportive collaborative environment focused on quality patient care
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care including managing labor and deliveries
- Conduct outpatient clinic visits (up to 25 patients/day)
- Manage routine and highrisk pregnancies
- Provide backup call coverage for Certified Nurse Midwives
- Perform patient rounds and assessments in Labor & Delivery
- Respond to emergent OB situations as needed
- Utilize EPIC EMR in hospital setting; Athena EMR in clinic
- Collaborate with physicians midwives and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Active Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience in hospitalbased OB/GYN care essential
- Comfort managing diverse and complex OB/GYN cases
- Ability to work extended hours and provide 24hour coverage as needed
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standards and quality of care
- State of Illinois Licensed Physician and Surgeon
- State of Illinois Controlled Substance License
- Federal (DEA) Registration Certificate
- Board Certified or Board eligible for OB/GYN
