Job Description
Top Cut Foods is Australias leading national provider of high quality meat products to the food service industry.
We currently have a vacancy on the production floor for a meat picker/packer worker.
The most important criteria for selection for this position will be a person who:
has experience in meat picking/packing and hygiene
has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
has well developed can do attitude with attention to detail
has the ability to use initiative and work with a minimum ofsupervision or effectively within a team environment as required
is punctual reliable flexible
It is preferable that the candidate demonstrates a level of competency in the following:
1. Ability to work in a cold environment
2. Ability to maintain consistent attendance
3. Ability to complete tasks as an individual or in a team environment
4. Read and understand Product codes PLUs and batch labelling
5. Pack bulk meat products into vacuum pack bags
6. Must have experience in operating various packaging & labelling machines
7. Work in conjunction with Butchers and Warehouse colleagues to managerawmaterial & finished goods stock
8. Maintain a clean and organised work station
