Faculty Visiting Professor of Psychology

Position Summary

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks a parttime Visiting Instructor in Psychology for the AY. This position is located at the Mequon WI campus in the Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include Introductory Psychology and other related courses including but not limited to Lifespan Development and Theories of Learning. Candidates from all areas of specialization are encouraged to apply. The candidates primary commitment should be to student learning in both facetoface and online formats and they should be wellversed in the Canvas LMS. This position carries a teaching load of 5 courses 15 credits) for the academic year.

• All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines and work night/weekends as needed
• Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Education & Experience

Earned doctorate in Psychology or a related discipline is preferred although highly qualified applicants making good progress toward a Ph.D. will be required. Previous collegelevel teaching experience is preferred. All ranked faculty members must be members of Christian congregations. CUW is a Lutheran University (LCMS) that emphasizes the integration of faith and learning in all areas.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a parttime faculty exempt position. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications education and experience.
