Job Summary
Oversee people and culture including recruiting interviewing onboarding orientation and dispatch. Additionally assist with HR matters and employee engagement. Plan and coordinate human resources activities and staff of an organization.
Essential Functions
Lead onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires.
Collaborate with field supervisors and corporate leaders to align hiring and staffing needs.
Own recruiting with the help of a recruiter including interview coordination and communication with hiring managers. Some recruiting is required based on volume.
Maintain and update employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality
Maintain HRIS systems and ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
Support employee relations assisting with investigations attendance issues and performance documentation.
Serve as a key contact for fieldbased hourly employees providing guidance and support on HRrelated questions and concerns.
Assist with employee engagement programs and initiatives that improve morale and retention.
Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates engagement initiatives and training programs
Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with ISO 9001:2015 and other regulatory standards.
Work Activities
Communicating with Supervisors Peers or Subordinates Providing information to supervisors coworkers and subordinates by telephone in written form email or in person.
Helping to resolve conflicts and negotiating with others Handling complaints settling disputes resolving grievances and conflicts with the assistance of HR Consultant or Leadership
Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Making Decisions and Solving Problems Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Coordinating with the HR Consultant(s) to evaluate information and determine compliance with laws regulations and standards.
Experience And Education
Bachelors Degree in HR Business Administration or related field of expertise required (preferred).
2 4 years progressive experience in HR recruiting or related areas
Experience managing onboarding and supporting employee lifecycle events.
Familiarity with ATS platforms and HR systems.
Ability to build rapport across diverse teams and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational time management and communication skills.
Certification in HR is preferred
Knowledge
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment selection training compensation and benefits labor relations and negotiation and personnel information systems.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation human resources modeling leadership techniques production methods and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words rules of composition and grammar.
Customer and Personal Service Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of laws legal codes court procedures precedents government regulations executive orders agency rules and the democratic political process.
Skills Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel 10 to select sites.
Ability to Motivate develop and direct others as they work.
