Middle School English Language Arts Catholic School Teacher
Location: Holy Redeemer Grade School
Holy Redeemer Grade School is seeking a faithfilled dedicated Middle School English Language Arts Teacher to join our team. A qualified and highly skilled Catholic school teacher is essential to the success of our students and the mission of Catholic education. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to serve in the ministry of teaching where educators not only instruct but also witness to the Gospel through word and action. Teachers at Holy Redeemer embrace their roles as Christian mentors fostering a nurturing learning environment in collaboration with the pastor principal and colleagues. Together we aim to support the spiritual emotional and academic development of each student.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education both through personal witness and professional excellence. All applicants should hold a bachelors degree from an accredited institution in education or a related field and possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate for the appropriate grade level or be willing to obtain certification. Catechist formation certification is also required though certification from another diocese will be considered during the application process. Teachers must be able to manage daily student supervision instruct according to the Archdiocesan Curriculum Standards assess student performance and comply with the expectations of the school principal and the Archdiocese of Detroits Pastoral Code of Conduct.
We are open to considering candidates who hold a bachelors degree in a noneducation field if they exhibit a strong desire to learn classroom management skills and are willing to work closely with an educational coach.
