Our team is passionate about delivering quality roofing systems to a wide range of commercial clients. As we expand were looking for a proactive and detailoriented Project Engineer who can also support project administration to help keep operations running smoothly from bid to build.
Position Overview
As a Project Engineer you will play a key role in supporting our project management team ensuring the timely and successful delivery of roofing projects. This hybrid role includes technical oversight document control and administrative coordination. Youll be involved in everything from preconstruction planning to closeout working closely with field crews subcontractors and vendors.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering:
Assist with project scheduling budgeting and coordination
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards
Review drawings specifications and submittals
Coordinate with field teams to track materials equipment and inspections
Help prepare RFIs change orders and punch lists
Project Administration:
Maintain project documentation and filing systems
Track and update project status reports and cost logs
Assist with subcontractor and vendor management (contracts insurance etc.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas notes and project communications
Support compliance with safety permit and quality control requirements
Qualifications
13 years of experience in construction preferably commercial roofing
Degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g. Procore Buildertrend or similar)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Detailoriented with a problemsolving mindset
