Your Role as a Chemistry Teacher

As a Chemistry Teacher you will:

• Teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with opportunities to teach KS5 if you have experience and interest in ALevel teaching.

• Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.

• Lead practical experiments and encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to realworld situations.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the chemistry curriculum remains dynamic uptodate and inclusive.

• Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school including science clubs competitions and educational trips.

• For experienced teachers opportunities for mentoring and leadership roles within the department may be available.
