What You Will Do:
- Prepare patients for surgery in the preop unit ensuring they are informed comfortable and ready for their procedures.
- Monitor patients in the PACU postsurgery providing expert care during recovery including pain management and patient education.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a seamless flow of care throughout the patients experience.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow all safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.
Youll Know Youre a Good Fit for This Position If You Have:
- A valid RN license in the state of Texas.
- Previous experience in preop or PACU nursing preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to reassure and educate patients during stressful moments.
- A commitment to patientcentered care with a focus on safety and recovery.
