Join our Marketing Team as a Marketing and Business Development Manager located in our Denver office.

This role will be based in our Denver office on a hybrid basis. Regular inoffice presence is required for daytoday operations as well as for team meetings training opportunities and relationship building. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Position Summary

TheMarketing and Business Development Managerwill support a variety of marketing business development and communications initiatives focused on elevating the firms brand within the Denver region and may also support practices and industry groups. The role will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Business Development while working collaboratively with and as an integral part of the firms marketing and business development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains relationships with attorneys acting as the primary point of contact for daily requests as well as marketing and business development needs while staying informed about the market office priorities and key client representations.
  • Strategizes with shareholders on responses to RFPs and proposals including analyzing market research and analysis on prospect companies and business sectors in coordination with practice and office professionals. Drafts responses and prepares presentations as necessary.
  • Makes recommendations for and supports office sponsorships memberships and event attendance at client and community events in order to increase the visibility and influence of the firm in the local market including helping attorneys to identify appropriate organizations to support.
  • Coordinates responses to marketing surveys directories and local and national nominations. This includes identifying and ensuring that leadership is aware of upcoming nominations and directory listings including Chambers submissions etc. Identifies candidates and opportunities and helps prepare submissions.
  • Works with events and practice professionals to plan organize and host client events including the preparation of conference/webinar materials. Manages all aspects of events including concept and agenda development with attorneys invitation coordination with venue among other event duties. Evaluates return on investment before and after each event and closely manages budget.
  • Works with the firmwide marketing as it relates to clientfacing and internal marketing materials for the region practice or industry group including attorney biographies practice area description updates experience tracking news and activities data press releases website content etc.
  • Prepares welcome materials for new attorneys. Including working with lateral shareholders to help integrate them including helping them prioritize which attorneys to meet internally.
  • Coordinates the flow of information from attorneys to marketing colleagues.
  • Works with Marketing Director to ensure content on website biographies and in proposal system is current and updated as appropriate.
  • Works with local individual shareholders and related practice group leaders to develop implement and support business plans that align with the practice and firm strategic goals.
  • Supervises and trains junior marketing members as assigned.
  • Assists with and manages a variety of short and longterm projects and attorney requests.

Education & Prior Experience

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of five years relevant experience in marketing and business development at a law firm of other professional services firm with proven experience responding to proposals and RFPs
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint)

The expected pay range for this position is:

$141800 to $185300 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience location and other jobrelated factors permitted by law.
