mPower is a womanowned small business looking for a wellrounded Logistics Support Specialist to provide essential logistical support at field locations. This role involves managing supply chains maintaining property accountability systems and ensuring compliance with relevant logistics regulations and procedures. The Logistics Support Specialist will collaborate with military personnel government civilians and administrative staff to support efficient operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Track and manage supply orders from initiation through delivery ensuring accurate records and prompt vendor payment.
Maintain supply requisition files and update outstanding requisition logs with current supply status.
Use and manage systems such as FEDMALL and ONE TOUCH SUPPLY SYSTEM for order tracking and fulfillment.
Issue and track all MILSTRIP gear maintain MILSTRIP logs and use DD Form 1348 for temporary receipts when necessary.
Oversee the Navy property system program (Defense Property and Accounting System DPAS) ensuring accurate recordkeeping and accountability for all property.
Monitor the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) process including turnin documentation inventory updates and property tracking.
Assist with annual property inventories and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and process requisitions for stock acquisition; track usage data to maintain optimal supply levels and reduce waste.
Conduct regular vehicle maintenance tracking and manage vehicle gas card usage (locationspecific).
Coordinate Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) compliance with base procurement policy and maintain the Authorized Use List (AUL).
Reconcile monthly government cell phone statements and ensure proper documentation and certification (locationspecific).
Submit orders and maintenance requests for document and printing services through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Manage local printing programs including the dropoff and pickup of materials from DAPS.
Support the issue return and maintenance of training gear and equipment.
Monitor command fuel card logs to verify accuracy and compliance (locationspecific).
Perform additional logistical tasks as needed based on local operational requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of four 4 years of logistics experience with at least two 2 years in a Navy or Marine Corps environment
Valid drivers license
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Experience with government logistics systems such as FEDMALL DPAS and MILSTRIP is highly desirable
