Desirable Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated fluency in C C and Linux software development. Experience teaching in the online/remote courses. Please note that completion of Fullerton Colleges Online Teaching Certificate or equivalent will be required to teach online sections. Detailed experience teaching computer science courses especially introductory classes with innovative teaching practices supporting success and retention of historically underrepresented groups. Commitment to examine reflect and modify instructional relational and classroom practices in order to effectively engage and support disproportionately impacted student populations with the goal of closing equity gaps.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Masters in computer science or computer engineering OR Bachelors in either of the above AND Masters in mathematics cybernetics business administration accounting or engineering OR Bachelors in engineering AND Masters in cybernetics engineering mathematics or business administration OR Bachelors in mathematics AND Masters in cybernetics engineering mathematics or business administration OR Bachelors degree in any of the above AND A masters degree in information science computer information systems or information systems OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.
