Risk Manager Analytics - Pre-Sales Specialist

The EMEA Presales team contributes to the success of sales and associated revenue generation within the RMA and PMA segment by generating and delivering analytical output during the benefits positioning stage of the sales cycle; focusing on functional positioning product differentiation and a client driven pitch a prerequisite to shorten the sales cycle and influence commercial negotiations.

• Client supplied portfolio/market data analysis and identification of data deficiencies / discrepancies
• Converting and loading client portfolios in the application and executing on standard methodologies for complex instrument types
• Running (market / risk) reconciliation reports to ensure that clients investments strategies are accurately represented in the application
• Liaising with prospective clients to understand the nature of their portfolios and investment strategies
• Liaising with sales and clients for timely retrieval of portfolio/ investment/market data and managing expectations on the analysis that can be presented
• Providing feedback and recommendations to Junior Presales on the data analysis presented to ensure high quality usage of client data
• Understanding prospects investment strategies and ensuring that portfolios are accurately modeled using MSCI Risk and Performance Analytical tools
• Analyzing portfolio risk and performance generating reports presentations and commentaries to help position the benefits of MSCI Risk and Performance tools
• Proactively implementing custom/workaround solutions to meet client expectations

• 25 yrs of relevant experience
• Strong Bachelor Degree in Mathematics Physics Engineering Economics or similar subject
• Additional qualifications in CFA (US) and/or FRM would be a plus for candidates looking for rapid career development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent Excel (Macro/VBA experience will be an advantage) and Powerpoint Skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight shortterm deadlines whilst managing client expectations.
