- Explore identify and seek new opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Develop negotiation strategies and support the management in all aspects of business development.
- Lead tender preparation including but not limited to identifying tender opportunities participating in writing proposals and following up on submissions.
- Maintain close relationships with Tender Unit Bid Managers to ensure successful and winning bid.
- Preparation and followup of tender documentation in accordance with the Egis book.
- Preparation of prequalification in all their administrative technical and financial components.
- Participation in all commercial and marketing activities of Egis.
- Participation in the bid reviews negotiations and kick off meetings
- Weekly reporting to country management.
- Chair and present monthly BD Update meetings.
- Prepare and present commercial and technical recommendations to the client and management.
- Update the management on the new market trends.
- Upstream and ontheground business intelligence identification of prospects public and private clients and investors etc.
- Conducts market survey analysis for different projects
- Identify and attend marketing campaigns and other activities that will help in increasing the recognition of the company with potential clients.
- Assist in developing a Marketing plan for Egis Egypt and introduce its wide array of services within the various relevant sectors.
- Support in building and expanding clients database and key contacts information.
- Support BD Manager in growing/expanding client relations including following up on prospective clients.
- Processing and following up online registrations.
- Responsible for the document control and administration support to BD Unit.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in engineering with 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in the business development within engineering industry.

- Strong relationships with clients and prospective clients in more than 3 out of the following sectors: transportation aviation construction real estate development water & wastewater.
- Good presenter and public speaker.
- Selfstarter who initiates leads and welcomes challenges

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Fluent in Arabic and English with strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms (of both languages) French is an asset
