Job Description
About: St. Frances Cabrini High School & Academy is a Roman Catholic coeducational school from 7 12 under the purview of the Archdiocese of Detroit in Allen Park Michigan. Founded in October 1960 Cabrini High School & Academy has a total enrollment of 281 students.

Goal: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of St. Frances Cabrini Parish & Catholic School.
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to the Facilities Manager
Essential Functions & Duties
- Ensure all areas are very clean and kept in proper order.
- Clean individual classrooms including vacuuming sweeping and mopping.
- Follow maintenance/custodial checklist for daily duties.
- Address staff and student needs and issues as they arise.
- Keep current with campus security policies and procedures.
- Participate with other staff in promoting good teamwork.
- Recommend measures to improve methods performance and quality of product or service and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1 years of experience
- Lift up to 50 lbs. or more (furniture ladders etc.
- Ability to be mobile up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to perform simple grasping pushing and pulling
- Ability to communicate with staff in a professional manner
- Constant stooping bending reaching and squatting are required
- Protecting Gods Children (VIRTUS training) and subject to Archdiocese of Detroit expanded background check.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting Wage is $10.50 to $15.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience.
