The Seasonal Potting Shed Clerk supports the daily operations of the Potting Shed and outdoor garden centre areas. This role involves assisting customers maintaining clean and organized displays watering and caring for plants and ensuring the overall appearance and safety of the outdoor area. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors has a positive attitude and can handle physical tasks in a fastpaced retail setting.

Customer Service

• Greet and assist customers with plant floral and garden product inquiries.
• Provide friendly knowledgeable and attentive service at all times.
• Assist with loading plants and gardening products into customers vehicles.

Outdoor Store Appearance

• Maintain clean tidy and wellstocked outdoor displays.
• Water trim and care for plants and floral products.
• Assist with setting up seasonal and promotional displays.

Stocking and Inventory Support

• Unload deliveries and move product to appropriate locations.
• Restock merchandise and ensure correct product rotation.
• Monitor product quality and report damaged items.

Health & Safety

• Follow all safety protocols including lifting techniques and protective equipment use.
• Maintain awareness of weather conditions and work safely in varying outdoor environments.
• Report hazards spills or safety concerns to management promptly.
