Reporting to the National Business Manager this role will be responsible for managing the enduser customer relationships in the Independent Grocery channel across the portfolio of DKSH Client brands like Lipton Perrier Nandos Little Bellies La Zuppa. A highly autonomous role you will own the customers in the channel across VIC delivering sales growth new distribution territory coverage & managing key MSOs.
Key responsibilities:
- Servicing and growing the territory/customers on a regular call cycle basis
- Planning weekly call cycle including promotions submission of new lines and marketing
- Achieving distribution of core lines in stores
- Building key customer relationships across various levels of stakeholders
- Gaining optimum position of all products on shelf and on display
- Stock ordering and Merchandising including display setup
- Exceeding monthly sales targets
- Managing local multisite operator groups within territory
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams (e.g. Business Insights Marketing Finance Customer Service Supply Chain) to ensure efficient and effective
- Use customer relationship management systems to build the database of customers and manage these customers effectively and provide timely and accurate data and reports
To be successful you will possess:
- Minimum 3 years FMCG experience within Independent Grocery experience
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/ market/ competitors/ customers
- Demonstrating strong relationship and selling skills and proven key customer management experience in Independent Grocery channel is a must
- Demonstrate solid negotiation and strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications specifically Excel
- Extensive experience with CRM systems
- An enthusiastic gogetter with excellent time management an eye for detail and works well under pressure
- An organised approach to planning in advance
- A valid Australian drivers licence
- A degree in Business/Marketing or related fields (desirable)
