The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live work and connect with their community.
Even though we are the largest selfdirected services provider in Maryland with over 2900 Participant employers enrolled statewide our SelfDirected Services team is anything but impersonal. The work we do directly supports employers with IDD in experiencing greater selfdetermination independence and choice in their services.
As we build the future of selfdirection in Maryland the SelfDirected Services Budget Reviewer will play a key role in supporting the review and processing of selfdirected budget sheets and related budget documentation to ensure regulatory and programmatic compliance. Under the direction of the Budget Manager the Budget Reviewer will support communication between a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders ensuring an interdisciplinary approach to programmatic compliance and financial documentation.
The ideal candidate for this position can work well independently and as part of a team maintain a collaborative professional relationship with all participants and support team members and maintain timely and responsive communication with coworkers and stakeholders with a customer service mindset.
This role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least three years experience working with people with I/DD and one year providing case management and/or plan facilitation where your role interfaced with Medicaid Waiver requirements.
