FLP SUMMER INTERNSHIP

The Financial Leadership Program(FLP) a twoyear leadership development program designed to prepare high performing highpotential talent from diverse backgrounds for leadership roles in Fidelitys Finance organization. The program which was founded in 1998 combines four sixmonth assignments across multiple business units workshops and training sessions to further develop your critical leadership business and analytical skills.

Participants in Fidelitys 10week FLP Summer Internship Program will have an opportunity to work with our Finance leaders participate in development activities and learn about Fidelitys Finance organization. The program offers diverse assignments that allow participants to be valuable members of a team and contribute to one of Fidelitys businesses. Upon completion of the Summer Internship Program Interns are evaluated and considered for a fulltime position in the twoyear Financial Leadership Program upon completion of their MBA program.

Fidelity Finance hosts a series of trainings many of which are unique to the FLP. These events are designed to broaden your understanding of Fidelitys businesses and prepare you fora leadership role in Finance.

HOW YOUR WORK IMPACTS THE ORGANIZATION

During your internship you will have the opportunity to work on a strategic highpriority project addressing acritical initiatives of the business unit and Finance community. Through this project you will have the opportunity to partner with senior finance leaders to assess their business challenges/opportunities provide valuable analysis to drive decisionmaking and develop strategies to meet the teams objectives. Typically this project will focus in the areas of pricing product customer cost and business driver analysis and financial planning and analysis. The ability to build meaningful relationships with business partners will drive your project to a successful completion and deliver a longlasting impact to the organization.

THE VALUE YOU DELIVER

• Participating in critical initiatives through project management strategic decisionmaking indepth analysis and the delivery of key findings with recommendations when appropriate
• Crafting and operating sophisticated financial models to inform business decisions pinpoint opportunities for improvement and to ultimately drive the decisionmaking process
• Preparing final deliverables and materials summarizing the analytical findings of your work along with meaningful recommendations for senior finance and business leaders

THE EXPERTISE WERE LOOKING FOR

• 35 years of significant work experience with increased responsibility
• Ability to work in Boston MA office based on rotational assignments and final placement
• Role is intended for MBA graduate students with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2025
• An unrestricted right to work in the US on a permanent basis

THE SKILLS YOU BRING

• Strong financial analytical modeling and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication organization and time management skills
• Proven leadership capabilities and ability to influence and inspire change!
• Ability to work with minimum supervision quickly assess situations analyze a problem complete a project or analysis and move on to a new project
• Potential to become a senior finance leader!
• Desire to work for Fidelity Finance upon completion of your MBA program
