Requirements:
A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
A bachelors degree is preferable.
Excellent knowledge of policy wordings
Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act.
Must be registered as an associate with the IISA.
A comprehensive knowledge of the South shortterm insurance markets.
Have a minimum of 5 10 years experience in a similar or related role.
A valid drivers license.
Computer literacy.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading developing and improving the daytoday client relationship.
Responsible for building a client profile including risk and needs analysis for the client portfolio.
Responsible for contributing to the renewal process which includes:
Preparing prerenewal documents.
Meeting with clients.
Sending renewal notifications.
Sending cancellation letters where applicable.
Responsible for structuring insurance programmes to meet the needs of portfolio clients.
Responsible for producing client documentation (including policy documents and claims statistics).
Leads or contributes to renewal meetings.
Leads or contributes to fee negotiations.
Responsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction retention revenue and profitability.
Responsible for ensuring compliant dealings with clients.
Contributes to the development of new business with existing or new clients.
Coordinates teams of Client Service Advisors (where applicable) to ensure client service standards are met.
Acts as support to the Strategic Account Manager or Business Manager on larger more complex accounts.
Responsible for credit control.
