Job Description & Summary
Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices streamlining processes and integrating cuttingedge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients as we delve into diverse complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services including accounting and reporting tax as well as financial planning & analysis across various sectors in the region.
We are looking for:
Accountant
Your future role:
- Recording all financial transactions as journal entries in the general ledger. Making necessary accruals and adjustments at the end of accounting periods to ensure that expenses and revenues are recorded in the correct periods
- Regularly reconciling general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers (e.g. accounts payable accounts receivable) and ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Collaborating with other departments such as accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll to ensure accurate and timely financial data
- Complying with and work towards achieving quantity and quality indicators SLAs KPIs and customer satisfaction metrics
- Identifying/proposing potential process improvements and cooperating in lean actions
- Onboarding of new peers into the teams processes and procedures (buddy role).
Apply if you have:
- Higher Education University Degree (degree in accounting finance economics as an asset)
- 2 3 years of experience in General Ledger area
- Fluency in English and one of the other European languages . German French Italian Spanish Portuguese)
- Extensive analytical and computer skills (Excel on advanced level)
- Experience in working with accounting software
- Experience in the implementation of new customer service.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in working in SSC
- ACCA or any other accounting certificate started.
