RPOs client is actively seeking a skilled
Financial Accountantwith construction industry experience to join their team in
Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to manage financial operations ensure compliance and support strategic decisionmaking. If you have strong financial acumen and construction industry experience we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies procedures and goals.
Prepare financial statements reports and budgets.
Monitor and manage financial accounting reporting and cash flow.
Forecast costs revenues and project/contract financials.
Manage tax compliance and ensure tax efficiency.
Analyze variances and implement costreduction strategies.
Assist leadership with budgeting and financial decisionmaking.
Oversee internal audits and coordinate external audits.
Mentor and develop the finance team.
Maintain banking relationships and ensure sufficient operational funds.
Requirements: Must reside in Cape Town and be a South African citizen.
Relevant Degree in Finance/Accounting.
5 years financial experience in the construction industry.
Proficient in Buildsmart and MS Office.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written).
Valid drivers licence and own vehicle.
Strong leadership analytical and problemsolving skills.
High integrity confidentiality and ability to work under pressure.
