Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detaildriven MidLevel SQA Engineer to ensure the delivery of highquality software products. In this role youll be responsible for executing comprehensive test strategies developing test plans and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop effective test plans and strategies
- Design write and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases
- Perform functional regression integration and exploratory testing on web and/or mobile platforms
- Validate APIs and data integrity using tools like Postman or Swagger
- Collaborate with developers product managers and UI/UX designers to identify log and track defects using Jira or similar tools
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning daily standups reviews and retrospectives
- Support release readiness with smoke testing and deployment verification
- Maintain clear documentation of test activities test data and QA processes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes tools and test coverage
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
- 3 5 years of handson experience in software QA or testing roles
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and best practices
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases scripts and test plans
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium Cypress or Playwright
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman SoapUI)
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (e.g. Appium)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
- Experience working in a SaaS or Agile development environment
