Job Description
Introduction
A prestigious Big 5 game reserve in KwaZuluNatal is looking for an experienced and handson General Manager couple to oversee operations hospitality and maintenance across four lodges. You will directly manage one lodge while overseeing the managers of the other three ensuring a high standard of service team cohesion and overall reserve upkeep.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Handson approach to maintenance farm upkeep and civil engineering
- Experience with booking systems and guest experience management
- Ability to work in a remote environment and handle operational challenges
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations guest experience and team performance
- Directly manage one lodge while supervising the managers of three others
- Ensure maintenance of lodge infrastructure water power and roads
- Foster team cohesion among up to 50 staff members
- Manage budgets bookings and administrative duties
