Qualifications

Job Overview: As a Commercial Electrical Foreman you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating electrical projects within commercial buildings. You will lead a team of electricians ensuring the successful of electrical installations maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of electricians apprentices and other personnel. Delegate tasks set priorities and ensure efficient project .
  2. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize electrical projects. Develop work schedules timelines and resource allocation plans.
  3. Blueprint Interpretation: Review and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and technical drawings. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with specifications and electrical codes.
  4. Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. Ensure compliance with local state and national electrical codes.
  5. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards. Identify and address any issues or deviations from project specifications.
  6. Team Management: Provide guidance training and mentorship to team members. Foster a collaborative and safetyconscious work environment.
  7. Material Management: Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. Manage inventory and control material usage on projects.
  8. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines onsite. Conduct safety meetings inspections and ensure that all team members adhere to safety regulations.
  9. Client Communication: Interface with clients project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress address concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
  1. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical and logistical challenges that may arise during the course of a project. Work collaboratively with the team to find effective solutions.
  2. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed including project documentation progress reports and change orders.
  3. Cost Control: Monitor project costs and work within budgetary constraints. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

  1. Electrical Expertise: Journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience. Indepth knowledge of commercial electrical systems codes and regulations.
  2. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong organizational and decisionmaking skills.
  3. Communication: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to effectively communicate with team members clients and other stakeholders.
  4. ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  5. Safety Consciousness: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  6. Project Management: Experience in project management including planning scheduling and resource management.
  7. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using tools equipment and technology relevant to the electrical trade.
  8. Customer Focus: A customeroriented approach with a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
