RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer to join our clients dynamic team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional with a passion for fashion strong design skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Design original clothing concepts in line with seasonal trends and brand identity
- Develop mood boards fabric selections and color palettes for collections
- Collaborate with the production and marketing teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Create technical drawings and garment specifications for sampling
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends materials and techniques
- Oversee fittings and adjustments to ensure highquality garment construction
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of the fashion industry competitors and consumer behavior
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer in a retail or design studio environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing design versatility and innovation
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop and other relevant design software
- Excellent understanding of garment construction textiles and fashion trends
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
