Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now searching for a skilled and detaildriven Hotel Accountant to join a luxury hotel group based in Franschhoek. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong accounting background and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daytoday financial operations of the hotel
Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Conduct bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
Monitor cash flow and forecast financial trends
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Collaborate with department heads to monitor and manage budgets
Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
Maintain uptodate financial records and systems
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 5 years experience in a similar role preferably within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional integrity and confidentiality
Reside in or be able to commute to Franschhoek daily
