Position Summary
The School of Education at Indiana University South Bend is seeking a fulltime lecturer in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with training in and knowledge of Science of Reading practices for theAcademic Year. Responsibilities will include: Teaching four courses per semester in early childhood education elementary education and related content for graduate and undergraduate teacher preparation programs Courses may be inperson online hybrid or in additional formats and may be offered in the evenings or on weekends. Assisting with the implementation of Science of Reading pedagogy and methodology in teacher preparation coursework across undergraduate and graduate teacher preparation programs. This includes facilitating faculty and student training in Science of Reading Assisting in recruitment and retention efforts as needed Providing service to the school college campus and university and participate in shared governance activities as appropriate to the visiting line Working collaboratively with faculty from other campuses K12 schools and agencies.
