Job Description
The Paul H. ONeill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (hereafter ONeill School) at Indiana University seeks to fill a tenure track faculty position at the rank of associate professor with tenure. The ONeill School is a core school of Indiana University with locations on both the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses; this position will be located on the Indianapolis campus. The successful candidate will teach courses in Community and Organizational Leadership Studies. We foster an interdisciplinary educational environment and welcome applicants with a Ph.D. in fields closely related to leadership studies and/or with a proven record of research and teaching in the field of leadership studies. The successful candidate will be prepared to develop and deliver both undergraduate and graduate courses in leadership studies relevant to the practice of leading and managing in both organizations and communities. The successful candidate will start no later than August 1 2025. The ONeill School is the largest public administration and public policy school in the United States. Indy is one of the countrys most walkable cities with numerous parks paths and recreational amenities promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Indianapolis also regularly hosts major sports events such as the NCAA Final Four. Traveling to and around Indianapolis is easy convenient and affordable.
