SPAR North Rand is currently recruiting for a Sponsorship Assistant to join their dynamic team
Duties & Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To provide excellent and efficient administrative support both to internal and external customers and the Sponsorship team including assisting with events and projects when necessary by driving the SPAR brand in the communities we serve through implementation of the Sponsorship pillars.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Handle admin tasks for the Sponsorship Department
Ensure that all invoices and orders for Sponsorship department have the required authorisation before the PO is originated
Ensure timeous payments to suppliers
Oversee SPAR Womens Challenge enquiry line
Stock control and stock take of the storeroom in Sponsorships
Support of all Sponsorship related initiatives and events
Ensuring that general housekeeping standards are maintained
Assist in any other functions within the department (including afterhours / weekends)
Any ad hoc projects as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
Computer literacy is essential
Good administration skills
Candidate must be in possession of a valid drivers license and own vehicle
Reliability and excellent time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to understand and quickly learn new systems and processes
Team player flexible and prepared to travel when needed
Be able to work overtime and on weekends when required
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Planning and organizational skills
Exceptional accuracy attention to detail and selfdriven to achieve results
