We are seeking a handson Mechanical Engineer to support plant operations maintenance and project . This role involves leading mechanical design troubleshooting equipment and improving system reliability across a fastpaced highvolume production environment. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in industrial equipment mechanical systems and plant engineering.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing chemical processing or metalsrelated environments.
Proven experience with equipment design plant operations and preventive maintenance practices.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems mechanical assembly and material flow systems.
Handson experience in environments involving fabrication machinery installation or mechanical infrastructure upgrades
Experience designing or supporting bulk powder processing ventilation systems or processing plant utilities is a strong plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative crossfunctional team.
Essential Duties:
Assist with the design analysis and implementation of mechanical components piping systems and HVAC infrastructure to support production.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with maintenance production and engineering teams to ensure plant equipment reliability and uptime.
Utilize AutoCAD SolidWorks and other CAD tools to create and modify technical drawings 3D models and specifications.
Support ongoing and future capital projects including installations upgrades and equipment fabrication.
Conduct thermal analysis FEA and root cause investigations to resolve mechanical failures and optimize system performance.
Assist with the preventative and predictive maintenance strategies using CMMS platforms.
Assist in developing solutions for bulk material handling dust collection systems and utilities including steam compressed air and chilled water.
Support automation systems and participate in integration of new technologies to improve plant processes.
Perform equipment inspections machinery troubleshooting and part replacements to minimize downtime in a heavy industrial environment.
Engage in process improvement initiatives using lean tools and continuous improvement methods.
Work with vendors to source parts and components in line with project requirements and industry standards.
