We are seeking a handson Mechanical Engineer to support plant operations maintenance and project . This role involves leading mechanical design troubleshooting equipment and improving system reliability across a fastpaced highvolume production environment. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in industrial equipment mechanical systems and plant engineering.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in industrial manufacturing chemical processing or metalsrelated environments.
- Proven experience with equipment design plant operations and preventive maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems mechanical assembly and material flow systems.
- Handson experience in environments involving fabrication machinery installation or mechanical infrastructure upgrades
- Experience designing or supporting bulk powder processing ventilation systems or processing plant utilities is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative crossfunctional team.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with the design analysis and implementation of mechanical components piping systems and HVAC infrastructure to support production.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with maintenance production and engineering teams to ensure plant equipment reliability and uptime.
- Utilize AutoCAD SolidWorks and other CAD tools to create and modify technical drawings 3D models and specifications.
- Support ongoing and future capital projects including installations upgrades and equipment fabrication.
- Conduct thermal analysis FEA and root cause investigations to resolve mechanical failures and optimize system performance.
- Assist with the preventative and predictive maintenance strategies using CMMS platforms.
- Assist in developing solutions for bulk material handling dust collection systems and utilities including steam compressed air and chilled water.
- Support automation systems and participate in integration of new technologies to improve plant processes.
- Perform equipment inspections machinery troubleshooting and part replacements to minimize downtime in a heavy industrial environment.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives using lean tools and continuous improvement methods.
- Work with vendors to source parts and components in line with project requirements and industry standards.
