The Department of Counseling Health and Kinesiology is currently seeking applicants from qualified candidates for parttime (typically one to two classes) nontenuretrack adjunct faculty positions. The Health & Kinesiology Program offers undergraduate and graduate degrees that can prepare students for healthand/or kinesiologyrelated careers in either a school setting or the public sector. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Health and Kinesiology classes (Exercise Science PrePhysical Therapy and EC12 Physical Education). Preference will be given to applicants who have evidence of effective teaching in the field of Health and Kinesiology. Teaching assignments include face to face and hybrid courses in the candidates area of expertise. Workload hours depend on the course schedule and teaching assignments may include day and night courses.
Required Education and Experience:
Undergraduate Faculty
Masters degree in Kinesiology or a commensurate field with at least 18 graduate hours in Kinesiology
Graduate Faculty
Doctoral degree in Kinesiology or a commensurate field with at least 18 graduate hours in Kinesiology
Preferred Education and Experience:
University teaching experience.
Experience mentoring students.
Experience with educational technology and distance learning.
