Job Description
Position: Inventory Control Specialist
Department: Purchasing
Primary Responsibilities: (guest interaction ordering responsibilities clean up duties clerical responsibilities etc.
Filling orders (picking orders and doing the AS400 transaction)
Stock shelves (after it has been received) away in the warehouse
Unload trucks
Full Physical inventory counts
Cycle Counting
Process all inventory requests
Normal Working Hours: (Shift days)
8:30am 5:00pm Monday Friday
In order to be successful in this position the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria in addition to the Ten Essential Attributes for All Employees.
Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work number of years required equivalent experience etc.
Warehouse/inventory control experience preferred
Previous forklift training preferred
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification highest required/preferred field of study)
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone inperson group; Written: memos documents)
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and in person
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency with AS400 preferred
Ability to use fork lift pallet jack wave
* Data entry 40 WPM Intermediate
