Classification: Fulltime Exempt 1.0 FTE

Compensation: $64290 to $73308 per year

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Mental Health Provider(QMHP) will provide culturally specific mental health services. This role involves conducting assessments developing treatment plans and delivering individual group and family therapy within a culturally responsive framework. The Mental Health Provider will work closely with individuals families community partners and service providers to enhance the wellbeing of Latino youth and families.

• Maintain a maximum caseload of 25 clients conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver culturally sensitive therapy including individual group and family therapy.
• Refer clients to substance abuse and other behavioral health services as needed.
• Collaborate with Community Health Workers (CHWs) to provide integrated services.
• Ensure clinical documentation meets state federal and organizational standards focusing on accuracy and timely reporting.
• Ensure collaborative documentation processes to enhance communication.
• Work with local organizations and stakeholders to improve service delivery for mental health challenges.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness of mental health resources.
• Engage in program evaluation and improvement using client feedback and data.
• Implement evidencebased practices to ensure program effectiveness and sustainability.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Engage in advocacy efforts to influence mental health policy at local and state levels.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• This position requires a valid and active QMHP credential certification through MHACBO or a valid and active status (licensed or registered intern) with an approved Oregon licensing board.
• Masters degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work or Mental Health Related field.
• Excellent bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English (written and oral).
• Demonstrated experience providing mental health services to the Latinx community.
• Experience in community health mental health and related services.
• Understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on the community.
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with organizations schools and families.
• Flexible and adaptive to achieve the functions of the position.
• Knowledge of systemic issues affecting Oregon Latinos and related policy processes.
• Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Latino Network is a fastpaced highly engaged work environment with satellite operations with positions performing work both onsite and remotely. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (nonweather); outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (nonweather) and extreme heat (nonweather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
