Job Description
License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 OhioRevised Code & proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.
Note: Licensed Practical Nurses who administer dialysis treatment must possess Certification in IV Therapy pursuant to Section 4723.17 Ohio Revised Code.
Required Educational Transcripts
Official transcripts are required for all postsecondary education coursework or degrees listed on the application. Applicants must submit an official transcript before receiving a formal employment offer. Failure to provide transcripts within five 5 business days of the request will result in disqualification from further consideration. WORK HOURS:
Day afternoon and evening shifts available. 8 hour 12 hour or 16 hour shifts available.
An Established Term Appointment (ETA) will have a length of appointment not to exceed ten 10 months consecutively. ETAs are scheduled to meet the needs of the hospital with no guarantee of hours.

What youll do at OhioMHAS:
- Provide medication education and empowerment to individuals
- Observe evaluate and record patient behavior condition and response to medication
- Monitor patient health including vital signs treatment plan progress and activity participation
- Serve in a fundamental role as a multidisciplinary team member that creates a safe and positive environment through safety and observation rounds and group facilitation
This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union)with a pay range of10on theOCSEAPay Range Schedule.This position is located within Heartland Behavioral Healthcare at 3000 Erie Street South Massillon OH 44646.
