Job Title: Exam Proctor
Location: Wellesley High School
Position Summary:
As an Exam Proctor you will play an essential role in administering standardized tests at Wellesley High School. Your primary responsibilities include distributing exam materials ensuring adherence to testing protocols and maintaining a secure testing environment. Proctors must be organized detailoriented and comfortable using technology. Training will be provided with options for both inperson and virtual sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Cannot be employed either parttime or fulltime at a test preparation company.
- Cannot engage in any coaching related to the content of secure College Board tests.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administering a variety of standardized tests including but not limited to PSAT SAT AP ACCESS and MCAS.
- Attend proctor training sessions (timing and dates vary depending on the exam schedule; individual sessions can be arranged based on availability).
- Ensure the security of all exams and testing materials.
- Proctor exams according to official instructions including:
- Distributing exams and reading instructions aloud to students.
- Monitoring student behavior to ensure compliance with exam rules.
- Collecting and securely storing completed exam materials until they are returned to the Testing Coordinator.
- For digital exams assist students with logging into the testing platform and monitor their progress.
- Report any irregularities or concerns to the WHS Testing Coordinator immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Testing Coordinator.
Scheduling:
- Next event is AP Exams that run May 5th23rd.
- Proctors will have the option to provide their availability and will be scheduled accordingly.
Training:
- Proctors are required to complete a training session before their assigned exam date.
- Training may be conducted either in person or online depending on availability and the exam schedule.
