(Choose between locations New Britain CT Bristol CT Plainville CT Waterbury CT Hartford CT. This oneyear residency program starting in Fall 2025 offers structured mentorship handson experience and professional development in a supportive primary care setting. Under the supervision of boardcertified Primary Care Nurse Practitioners and Physicians you will gain valuable clinical skills while providing highquality patient care.

Conduct medical evaluations develop accurate diagnoses and formulate treatment plans in accordance with clinical best practices.
Perform physical health examinations preventive screenings and medication management.
Prescribe therapeutic interventions and administer medications as required.
Monitor and support patients selfcare management and provide necessary health education.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests laboratory studies and clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs.
Utilize evidencebased practice to triage clinical emergencies and implement safety protocols.
Document clear and concise clinical impressions and treatment plans.
Registered Nursing degree and a relevant Masters degree in Nursing.
Certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Active Connecticut APRN license and Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Active DEA controlled substance registration and Connecticut controlled substance registration.
Ability to acquire and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Strong foundation in primary care chronic disease management and preventive care.
Experience or training in triaging clinical emergencies and implementing safety protocols.
Ability to work in a collaborative teambased environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients families and healthcare teams.
