Job Description
Summer 2025 Student Contract
Parttime 8 to 16 hours per week

We are currently seeking an Animal Care Attendant at our SaintHyacinthe site. The successful candidate will report to the Farm Manager. Their primary role is to perform operations related to the physical wellbeing of the animals and the maintenance of their environment. You will be willing to work weekdays and weekends according to the established schedule.
What youll do:
Feed the animals
Ensure the cleanliness of the yard
Report abnormalities injuries heat events and any other observations
Support activities requiring the presence of a veterinarian or animal health technician
Unload hay and bedding and transport them to the appropriate locations
Carry out animal movements
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or other relevant experience
Valid drivers license
Observation skills and problem solving
Teamwork and communication skills
Manual dexterity an asset
Experience driving a farm tractor an asset
Experience operating a Bob Cat skid steer loader an asset
