Job Description

Burr and Burton Academy seeks a fulltime school counselor beginning August 2025. Candidates must be knowledgeable about and have experience guiding high school students in developing academic career and personal goals as well as posthigh school plans. Primary responsibilities include advising students designing programs collaborating with faculty and staff supporting families building relationships with colleges and universities and overseeing college applications. Ideal candidates have a degree in school counseling or a related field are collaborative team players enjoy working with teenagers and have strong organizational technological problemsolving and communication skills. Applicants should submit a personal statement resume and references (preferably in a single pdf document) to Robin Urbanski Assistant to the Headmaster at Candidates will be considered on a rolling basis. The posting will be removed from the schools website once the position is filled.
