SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
Assists in development and implementation of Development Marketing Communications and Community Relations plans and goals in coordination with the Executive Director Director of Development and board of Trustees. Increases the visibility and awareness of St. Judes Ranch for Children in the community through the development of the Volunteer Program and various Development Marketing Communications and Community Relations activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- In coordination with the Director of Development and Chief Executive Officer plan and carry out all Marketing efforts (print TV and radio)
- Develop newsletter content in coordination with the Director of Development and Chief Executive Officer
- Assist in the development of SJRC social media content
- Assist the Director of Development in the development and management of fundraising promotions
- Play key planning and coordination role on annual signature event
- Provide monthly calendar of campus activities and events
- Refer media requests to Director of Development
- Develop with the Director of Development and Chief Executive Officer a Crisis Media Plan for response on issues
- Compile and maintain all media references (e.g. newspaper local magazines etc. to have one repository for assigned campus(s)
- Assist in design development and management of local fundraising events
- Provide the Director of Development Chief Executive Officer and CAB with media updates
- Assist with materials and solicitations to potential contributors and donor contacts
- Prepare thank you acknowledgments for volunteers and donors of local activities and assist donor calls
- Support inkind donation activities including organization of and inventory tracking
- Assist in the development and implementation of annual Development Plan with the Director of Development the Chief Executive Officer and the Local/National Board Development Committee
- Assist on all local fundraising activities for assigned campus(s) in conjunction with the Director of Development and Chief Executive Officer with the goal of achieving annual fundraising targets as defined in the Strategic Goals
- As required provide campusbased tours for donors volunteers and visitors
- Increase visibility and awareness of St. Judes in the community including community groups (e.g. Rotary Club Chamber of Commerce etc. and speaking engagements
- Meet with children and staff on a regular and frequent basis
- Obtain free tickets to events for the children
- Coordinate donor recognition and solicitation functions
- Track the finances related to inkind and other donations and report on a biweekly basis
- Coordinate campus events with Program Directors(s) and prepare invitations and/or flyers (e.g. birthdays career days potlucks etc.
- Develop grow and manage Volunteer Program
- Maintain volunteer records
- Track contributions and hours
- Conduct volunteer orientation and training
- Plan volunteer thank you events
- Other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing public relations or related field; AND two 2 years of communitybased development marketing and public relations OR an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
- Nevada drivers license.
- CPR and First Aid training within six 6 months of date of hire.
