Job Description

MLL Summer Program Paraprofessional Site TBD

Background:

The MLL Summer Program will be a fourweek summer academic/enrichment program running from July 7August 1 2025. The program will operate Mondays Fridays from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

The program will be held at a Fall River Public School TBD. Students will work on fun and engaging projectbased lessons based on grade level science curriculum receive direct instruction in oral language and continue to build English skills to access grade level content. This program is designed for newcomers and will have a specific focus on English language acquisition for students in grades K5.

Summer Program Paraprofessional


Responsibilities:


Including but not limited to:

  • Attending one professional development session prior to the program*
  • Supporting the teaching of lessons aligned to the Massachusetts StateFrameworks
  • Implementing tiered activities that embed the Massachusetts content frameworks
  • Supervising children throughout the day

Salary:


Paraprofessional Contractual Rate


Program Duration:


July 7August 1 Mondays Thursdays

*PD Session tentatively scheduled for June 30 2025 (Monday)
